About Paliscope.

Paliscope – 250 words

Paliscope is software for professional online open source intelligence (OSINT) investigations. It also features a free Community edition for private use.

It gives a clear structure and guidance when searching, documenting and reporting open source information, to both novice users and experienced OSINT investigators. The insurance industry, the bank and finance sector and law enforcement agencies use this highly innovative tool to tackle insurance fraud and other crime types.

Paliscope functions as a quality assurance system that saves and secures the authenticity of OSINT material. Together with the structured process, this saves a lot of time compared to the time-consuming process of manually searching and saving information that is used in many investigations today.

Open sources on the Internet today contain a wealth of information that is incredibly useful. However, for the less experienced, searching the Internet can be like searching the jungle for a specific plant. If you don’t know where to look, you’re not likely to find it. And if you don’t know how to keep a secure record and map, you might never find that same spot again.

Launched in April 2018, Paliscope fills a growing demand and need for this type of product. Paliscope is the newest subsidiary of Safer Society Group and peer company to NetClean and Griffeye, both world-renowned technology companies within their respective field. With an extensive worldwide network, in-depth technical knowledge and thorough understanding of the challenges that society and law enforcement face, Paliscope contributes to creating a safer and better society.

Brand guidelines.

Colors

Primary Color Palette

Petrol Blue is the primary color that shall be associated with the Paliscope brand. It should be used for applications such as the logos, backgrounds, graphical elements, and image overlays. It may also be used for certain text adaptations, such as headings or chapter headers. Keep in mind that Petrol Blue may not stand out adequately from the standard text color – especially for smaller text sizes – therefore rather use a tint defined in the Secondary Color Palette. Crimson Red is the accent color of the brand. It should be used sparingly; to highlight and to provide variation, such as for details on icons and illustrations or small graphical elements.

Secondary Color Palette

The secondary color palette describes nuances of our Petrol Blue. These tints and shades are intended for both digital and print use, and can be applied for backgrounds, graphical elements, and highlighting bits of text, for instance, hyperlinks and primary buttons. Special care should be given to limit the use of too many shades and tints for one element, view, or page.

Special attention should be given to maintain a high contrast between background and text, especially when the text size is below 16 px. Dark Grey should be the default for text and icons on White and Silver background. Aluminium is intended for secondary information such as hint texts or timestamps. Porcelain Grey may be used sparingly as backgrounds for secondary elements or for certain states, in cases where Aluminium is already in use. Black may be used for text or backgrounds where extraordinary contrast is required.
