Over the years, we’ve built a product suite at Paliscope that has been embraced by users around the world. However, it’s become clear to me that we haven’t always communicated as clearly as we should when it comes to how and why our products should be used. Their flexibility and power are undeniable, but this versatility has, at times, led to confusion.
That’s about to change. Moving forward, we’re making some important updates to ensure that our product suite better serves investigators working with online data—whether you’re dealing with social networks, web downloads, returns, or platforms like Telegram.
Our mission has always been to accelerate investigations and simplify data exploration, and we’re doubling down on this commitment. Paliscope will continue to be the world’s leading suite of tools for investigators working with online data.
As part of this evolution, I’m excited to announce some important product name changes:
YOSE (Your Own Search Engine) will now be known as Paliscope Explore. The new name better reflects its broader purpose—this isn’t just about search anymore. Explore is designed to help you navigate, manage, and make sense of complex data with ease.
Discovry will become Paliscope Build. This shift highlights its core functionality: building cases, managing evidence, and building structured reports.
In addition, we want to make Paliscope Explore accessible to investigators everywhere. That’s why we’re introducing a Community Edition—completely free. Featuring key capabillities to help you navigate an ever increasing ocean of online data. And for those who want to speed up their workflow even more, the Professional Edition will unlock powerful tools for intelligence detection and increased operational efficiency.
These changes are just the beginning. With a renewed sense of purpose, a growing team of talented developers, and a continuous focus on innovation, we’re here to empower you with the tools you need to explore online data and build stronger cases.
