Background

The end of 2020 and the whole of 2021 until this date has seen multiple successful cyberattacks targeting third parties such as SolarWinds, Colonial Pipeline, and Kaseya.

The impact of these attacks were massive: In the SolarWinds attack, 18000 customers were affected;  In the Colonial Pipeline attack, nearly 6000 customers were affected, and in the Kaseya attack, an estimated 1500 customers were affected.
