Consequently, it was determined that an advanced guard of military intelligence operators would deploy to the Area of Operations to identify and help address various needs and challenges, including Force Protection, mobility, and access to communications infrastructure.
To undertake the mission effectively, a large volume of data and information would need to be collected from multiple sources and analyzed.
Additionally, there was a crucial need to undertake such data processing offline with the support of effective geo-location visualization, network relationship, and offline translation utilities.
an offline intelligence analysis utility
As an offline intelligence analysis utility, Explore was used to index data – enabling military intelligence operators to fully use Explore's own AI capabilities to fulfill several operational requirements.
Indexed data was used to map local network relationships based on facial recognition of imagery and video footage and identify weapon systems of interest. Explore’s Chat Analytics module was also used to analyze intercepted communications between leaders from rival armed factions.
The data was fused with separate source intelligence obtained from Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Technical Surveillance, resulting in the identification of IMSI numbers of interest.
This enabled military intelligence operators to map human terrain within the Area of Operations and identify potentially hostile routes and locations from which future Influence Operations could be directed.
The result was a fast, effective, and efficient deployment of forces. In addition, medical support for civilians affected by conflict was safely established.
Military intelligence organizations apply the Intelligence Cycle by first coordinating the collection of data and information from ISTAR [Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Radar] assets, including Covert Human Intelligence Sources (CHIS), Tactical Surveillance, and Electronic Warfare (EW) – to name but a few.
The Paliscope Intelligence Platform enables military forces to efficiently and effectively process large volumes of all-source intelligence and multiple-source data. This capability enables military forces to conduct effective tactical and operation-level fusion and produce actionable intelligence on a standalone deployable laptop on the field – entirely offline.
